My family and I stayed one night here, as part of our holiday. Unfortunately our Amtrak train was cancelled twice, we were heading to New Orleans for a few days prior to a cruise. As we come from Scotland we couldn’t contact our travel agency due to time difference. I went to the reception for help. The member of staff Pontea, was Amazing!!!! She calmed me down and went above and beyond to ensure we could continue our travels. She helped us to arrange car hire and continued to check in with us all the way to New Orleans! I’m so grateful for the support she gave us

I loved how the convention center was accessible through the hotel itself! I enjoyed the room we stayed in too, it was old and a little run down visibly, but the view out the window overlooking the Mississippi River was really cool! I super appreciated being put in a corner unit to avoid noise I mentioned I did not want to hear. There are certain elevators that have glass windows and you can see the city as you go up which was fun!

The hotel cannot help this by all means, but the walls are super thin with it being an older place or the fact there's no insulation in the connecting door between rooms, but I was unfortunately woken up out of my sleep by the neighboring people beside us at 2am! Being a corner room, the only neighbors we did have, of course had to be super loud / young ones who returned to their room at 2am slamming doors, toilet seats, loud laughing & obviously intoxicated. It literally sounded like we were in the same room as them with how loud they were. The location although was perfect for the purpose of my stay needing access to the convention center, I must mention to others who are also maybe traveling to an unfamiliar place, that there are a group of homeless people who hangout along the street the back of the hotel is located on, so that's something to be aware of if you are traveling alone. Another thing I should note, this area of town in particular was surprisingly a ghost town with no other humans (besides the homeless) to be seen taking a leisurely stroll outside, which made my husband and I feel like there was a reason for that..so we went back to the hotel premises immediately! There is a lot of police presence driving around & not many restaurants walkable in the surrounding corridor, nor anything else fun to do nearby.

Connect directly to the convention center great if you have an event you’re attending there

Rooms don’t have microwaves, TV doesn’t really work in room they’re all old, and the restaurant inside the Hotel is awful prices are outrageous, it takes forever to get food, and they don’t always have the ingredients to make everything on the menu even though their menu is really small not to mention a forced gratuity of 18% for an awful time.

We Arrived at the hotel after a 4.5 houre drive from Nashville to be informed there is no porters to help with your luggage, restaurant is closed ,bar is closed,we dont have a pool despite one being advertised on web site ,gym is closed. I asked for a drop of milk to make a coffee in the room and was told we don't have any but there's a supermarket down the road. I walked to the supermarket 15 minutes away Got approached 6 times by dru k and drugged guys asking g for money . Room ok not the best . All the manager could say in a very aggressive manor was its not our Fault don't belive anything you read on Google before we booked I should off checked out there web site. Shocking no appolagey nothing .never again stay away.
