Management Problems
4.0Because I was placed on a floor with about 20 under supervised teenagers, who laughed and screamed at each other in the hallways, I was switched to another room at 11:15 at night. It took nearly an hour to be changed and the response of the employees at reception was indifference. On this same trip, I stayed at the Tikal Futura without incident and with employees who took responsibility if any issue occurred. I was deeply disappointed and was offered, at best, a tepid apology. There is a deep management and training issue at the hotel. Hospitality is really not the hotel's strong point.
