A very good hotel
10.0We stayed from 1.7.26-8.7.26 when Mount Etna was putting on a display. The hotel was excellent in many ways. We had a fifth floor sea view room. There was also a view of Mount Etna from the picture windows in the corridor where you could watch the volcanic activity from a distance. The bed was very comfortable. The room whilst classic in decor (which we like) was very well equipped including tea and coffee facilities and an iron, hairdryer etc. The cleaners did a good job. The room included an allocated beach bed, and towels were available from the beach hut. As other have said the beach is pebbly so sea shoes needed. Breakfast was excellent, great selection of cakes, breads, fruit and salads and could order omlettes etc. Staff were professional. There were restaurants over the road, but we mainly walked into the main part of the town for meals approx 20 minutes walk. Visit to Taormina a must, easily done on the local or city bus. The only negative was that drinks in the hotel were very expensive - I understand that there were standards to maintain however we would have liked to have sat in the bar or outside in the evenings but it was lacking in atmosphere and a little expensive, so went to the little cocktail bar along the road instead to people watch.

Super Hotel von Lage und Ausstattung!
8.0Immer freie Liegen am Strand und generell wenig los aufgrund des eigenen Hotelstrandes, sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück und Lage zentral um zu Fuß gut unterschiedliche Restaurants zu erreichen. Auch für Ausflüge nach Taormina und Ätna und Alcantara Schlicht gut gelegen. Täglich frisches Wasser im Zimmer. Gym gut ausgestattet.
