Tranquility and luxury in the middle of a very vibrant city

The location of the hotel is excellent and we were therefore able to have the car parked by the hotel and then walk and use trams for the rest of our stay. The breakfast was excellent with great variety so something for everyone. A very opulent but classy hotel with rich colours and furnishings and beautifully and tastefully renovated to reflect its past. Very impressed.

− It was a pity that we couldn't experience the restaurant as it was not fully open on the two nights we stayed. However, the restaurant recommendations provided by the staff for nearby alternatives were extremely good.

Amazing location and staff as usual. Only hotel that is truly a 5* in Manchester City centre.

Always love staying here for the unique/exclusive feel it offers - especially compared to other 5* hotels in manchester. Staff are always amazing and location is the best

− I do wish the hotel had a gym/spa, however I was told the hotel has acquired the building across the street which will eventually have a gym which will be great.

Great City Centre Luxury Hotel

We stayed at the Stock Exchange Hotel for two nights on 20 and 21 June 2026, and our entire experience was incredible. We received a very warm welcome on arrival, including a complimentary glass of champagne, and our room was excellent. Every member of staff was so friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Deepak and the lovely Polish lady who served breakfast each morning. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the dining room is one of the most stunning and memorable spaces we’ve ever eaten in. We’ll definitely be back.

Comfortable room. Staff were great and very welcoming. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely particularly the hot drinks, although I did miss the bagels that were offered on our last stay

− I found it difficult to get our room completely dark. On the second night I found the blind behind the shutters but it still wasn’t properly dark. With the amount charged for the rooms I would expect to have full darkness so enable a good sleep.
