We ended up leaving after 1 night.
4.0Young blonde male at desk- very professional.
− We were assured that we would have a king room with a river view. Instead we were on the first floor with a view of cars parking right by us and the dumpsters. Very disappointing.

10.0The staff was super friendly....location was perfect to explore Grand Haven while having a peaceful setting to enjoy river views. Room was clean and the onsite dining option was really helpful.
− The left turn out of the parking lot was sometimes difficult....the thermostat did not communicate well at all with the hvac unit.
Nice views of marina not far from Downtown Grand Haven and Lake Michigan. Good food at the restaurant on site MudPenny

− Most Holiday inn’s have free coffee in the lobby for guests. Not this one! It was almost $5 for a regular coffee in their restaurant MudPenny. Also no continental breakfast offered. Hallways need to vacuumed more!

− Found multiple hair’s in my clean towels in the room. Also the bugs at night walking into the facility are a bit rough but understandable with it being by the water.

− Restaurant not great. 9:00 and seemed to be shutting down. Could be great. Maybe just a bad night. Weren’t making the advertised oven-fired pizza because it was too hot out. It was hot out. No coffee in the lobby in the morning, just tea.
