− This is a individual thing, but I like to start the shower and let the water get ready. The way the shower is setup, you have to be in the stall to start and can't do anything else while it warms up.

10.0⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful stay at Aloft by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel! The hotel is modern, clean, and perfectly located in the heart of Thamel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and the overall service was exceptional. A special thanks to the team at Nook Restaurant. Chef Sanjeev and Chef Deepak ,Rajkumar prepared delicious meals and went above and beyond to make every dining experience memorable. Anu and Rebecca provided outstanding service—they were incredibly warm, attentive, and always greeted us with genuine smiles. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kathmandu. Looking forward to staying here again!

5 star experience for 3 star
6.0The room was 3 star rated but there was not even a small table available for eating or drinking. The restaurant had an open kitchen which is a serious concern for food safety as no one was using gloves while cooking. My booking included dinner and breakfast. My experience was that even a roadside dhaba provides better service and quality than this. It is my experience that perhaps the people of Nepal call a 3 star hotel as a 5 star hotel. If this is counted in 5 star hotels then I would call it a stigma.
