− July 17 to 22 is apparently feast time with loud music till early hours but thus is not host's fault. She gave us earplugs and I even slept without them. Thus only happens 4 out of 365 days

A wonderful little haven (Room #4)
10.0The location was excellent - right in the center of Madalena and easy to find. The room was incredibly tidy, the bed was comfortable, sheets crisp with a really great AC unit. The rooms always smelled so fresh and clean. The bathroom was nicely laid out, lots of towels supplied and toiletries. Outside of the room was a shared coffee/tea/distilled bottled water station that was cleaned and restocked every day. I really have nothing bad to say about the rental it was wonderful and the staff were so kind and accommodating - keeping in contact via WhatsApp for us and checking in. She took the time to explain everything to us when we arrived and showed us how appliances worked (we are not from EU a lot of things are new to us haha!). There was a small welcome box which included Gorreana Teas, Azores Jam, Biscuits and some local chocolates which was very kind. We asked about a fridge for our room since we brought cheeses from Sao Miguel, and she kindly offered to store them for us in the restaurant fridge since our room did not have one (this is my fault for not checking first). Overall this is a really cozy place to stay and the special touch decor made it feel even more comfortable 😀 very kind and welcoming.
− The only negative I would say is that the parking can be a little sparse in front of the location as there is a very popular and busy restaurant downstairs (O Cinco)! We have found this is the case everywhere in Azores though so it's not really a negative, just something to keep in mind.

10.0Das Zimmer hatte eine tolle Einrichtung, das Bett war bequem. Es gab ein Zwischenfall im Restaurant unter meinem Zimmer, der mich eine Nacht sehr gestört hat, aber die Gastgeberin hat wirklich toll darauf reagiert. Ich hab mich wirklich sehr gut aufgehoben und wohl gefühlt!
