9.0The theming of the hotel is spot on. A lot of attention to detail went into the decore in both the common areas and the room. Great view of the launch pad for SpaceX flight. The valet was friendly and made us feel welcome. The check in person was also great! Breakfast was better than expected for a hotel breakfast and the location is superb. Great view of beach from pool area and easy access to beach. The beach was well maintained.
− We arrived on Sunday night and the pool bar was closed. Lots of people in the pool but no easy way to obtain a drink. The only negative staff experience was at the front desk in the morning. The staff person came from a place of no on two separate interactions. She should either be retrained or find another line of work that doesn't require interacting with customers. When we checked out I asked for an invoice and was told that Booking.com would have to provide even though I had added items like meals and valet to bill and wanted to verify accuracy before leaving.
We wish we were still there.
10.0The room was excellent, we stayed in a condo and it was great that even though we had our son with us there was plenty of privacy. I enjoyed the view, it was called a partial view but it felt like a full view to me because I could see the beach and the water.
− I didn't like that the restaurant was so limited, no options for people who don't eat shell fish and pork, but they did make a scampi with fish for me that was delicious, if they had better dinner options I don't think we would have went out to eat much at all. I've been to a few islands like the US VI, Jamaica and the Bahamas but as far as a hotel is concerned this stay was the best. (I know the question is what didn't I like but there was very little to say.)
