6.0Clean room, busy, lively and always full. Needs some attention (repair and maintenance). Stayed in N Tower.clogged, TV, remote, sluggish and AC fan was full blast or nothing. Maintenance addresses quickly.
The room was excellent! The staff was excellent! The food was bad!

− The American breakfast was cold. the food was overcooked. not a great value for the amount charged. I was charged for WiFi and it didn’t work.
Functional stay at Chicago north
8.0Location is great if you are visiting north Chicago. Shuttle service to Ravinia was a surprising bonus.
− Hotel is rather old and it shows. The 3rd floor reeked of odd food smells, the toilet is nice but its age shows.
It’s served its purpose, but was uncomfortable

− Room was very small and tight. I asked for a room for three people and had to get a rollaway bed that barely fit in the room. For three adult people it was very tight.
Hotel is nice staff is rude
4.0I fell in the shower and resulted in a huge bruise and painful hip and back. The shower tub floor was extremely slippery due to the buildup of conditioner. I went down to front desk after about 20 minutes trying to get out of the tub. I showed them the bruising. They were very rude. Said there is an urgent care close by if I wanted to go they could give me directions. Totally blew me off. I asked for another room with a walk in shower. Was told rooms were full. And they walked away.
