− The worst hostel I stayed in. Dirty, rude staff, NO blankets (it’s October!).

6.0The room was clean, there was good public transport access to the city center, and the reception was open 24/7.
− However, the place doesn't feel cozy at all. I’ve never stayed in a hostel that charged for so many extra things before. You can't even leave your luggage before check-in without paying. They don't even provide hand soap in the bathroom. Instead, going to reception feels like walking into a convenience store selling basic necessities. Offering a croissant and a coffee is a nice gesture, but I wouldn't advertise it as "breakfast included." I understand this is just how they run their business and they have every right to do so. It’s just that out of all the hostels I've stayed in, this one felt the most inhospitable. What bothered me the most was housekeeping coming in 10 minutes before check-out and rushing me out of the bathroom. Then, when I tried to finish getting ready in the room, another staff member walked in to change the sheets while I was about to change my clothes. Again, I get that cleaning is their job, but until check-out time, I should at least be entitled to some privacy in the room or bathroom to finish getting ready. On top of that, earlier during my stay, a male housekeeper walked into both the room and the bathroom without knocking while I was getting ready. I was only doing my makeup, so it wasn't a huge deal at the moment, but given that I paid extra for a female-only room, I definitely expect a higher level of comfort and privacy.
