10.0Peace and quiet. Very safe and secure. Excellent food. Excellent grounds, comfy beds, exquisite decor. Breakfast top notch. Very plush.
− A bottle of complimentary water on bedside had been opened and was only half full. Spa wasn’t opened due to refurb and whilst was telephoned about this post booking, ahead of going, I wasn’t offered a discount or a free future stay.
Strange policy
6.0Lovely hotel
− Despite prepaying our stay the hotel took £100 from my credit card ( in case of 'incidental ' this was non negotiable. I was assured this would be returned within a few days. It took 4 weeks for it to get back and phone calls to both the hotel and my credit card provider. We stayed a second night a few weeks later and exactly the same thing hapened. Luckily I was within my credit card limits but it will still stop me rebooking in the future!
