It’s beautiful and the view is amazing

Tv that was not working we thought even if we did not come with our decoder there is some general channels that we could watch

My stay was very good, but it would be excellent if the venue could provide tea/coffee sachets.

The house is big enough and the cleanliness was good. All utensils in house were available, especially the kitchen staff i.e. 2XFridges.

Self catering should not mean you must bring your toilet paper (even though it was there)and coffee and tea. To me, it's turn off (unprofessional) to ask clients to bring own tissue, these should be basics. On my arrival I needed clarity on some issues, unfortunately there was no one I could speak to, the instructions should not be the only means of communication but at least someone must physically or telephonically welcome guests, especially the key was collected from the reception (that was. unable to answer some of my questions).

Nice view, wouldn’t go again though

The view

The toilets were musty, no proper circulation and unnecessary amount of keys, it took us around 45 minutes to unlock the door because it wouldn’t budge. It is far from the airport but the beach makes up for it

Great looking apartment and not a bad price. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back again.

The flat was really spacious and looked great. The kitchen was well equipped with extras like an ice maker and coffee machine (both of which could have done with a bit of clean though), washing machine, tumble drier (which we used a lot on the rainy days) and also a dishwasher, microwave and double door fridge and freezer. The bedrooms were a good size and there was ample packing space. The lounge was very comfortable!! Recliner couches to seat 6 people which we loved. The curtains are just aesthetic though, and the blinds don't close (broken), but we were on the 3rd floor so that wasn't too much of an issue. And the balcony was great - table and chairs for 8 people with a a great view of the Margate main beach. Also we had the best view in the house of the fireworks on New Years Eve which was a great surprise (although the partying on the beach did go on for A WHILE), but the windows and glass doors are double glazed, so they cut out noise very well. We did sleep with the doors open for most of the time we were though as there were no fans or air conditioning, and on HOT days, we did battle with that.

The flat needs a decent, deep clean. I didn't love the restricted beach access due to gate closing times (i.e. 4pm the gate closed from the pool area). Having said that, we could still walk to the beach another way around (through a deserted, adjoining shopping center). Also the pool area itself closed at 6pm daily - it would have been nice to go for evening swims. Speaking of, the pool is a big disappointment as it is very small and there is no seating area around the pool (too small to even have a seating area) - it built in an 'alley'.
