8.0De ligging. Het ontbijt. De kamer. De bar aan het zwembad. De grandeur. Etc.
− Het eten in het restaurant was niet top. Schotel was koud de eerste keer. Wel goed rechtgezet door het personeel.
Alles in Allem: Eine charmante Residenz mit einem sehr gutem Preis/Leistungs - Verhältnis!

− Das Palace-Hotel ist im Jahr 1913 wohl als luxuriöse Residenz gedacht gewesen. Die 4 Sterne **** sind wohl berechtigt, auch wenn man durchaus feststellen darf, dass das Haus mittlerweile etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Für eine vollständige Sanierung fehlen wohl die Finanzmittel, die aufgebracht werden müssten. Aber dies wird durch den aussergewöhnlichen Charme des Personals aufgewogen. Das Restaurant hat eine recht kleine Menü-Karte, was bedauerlich ist. Die zahlreichen „Osterie“ in und rund um Varese sind deshalb ein Segen.

9.0Pool-området var utmärkt och frukosten var bra. Atmosfären var värdig och hotellet såg ut som på bilderna. Dessutom var vyerna enastående från rummen och trädgården.
− Hissen var väldigt långsam och gymmet var ganska litet och maskinerna funkade inte ordentligt.

9.0Door de ligging en uitstraling van het hotel begint je reis uit Nederland meteen op een heerlijke en ontspannen manier. Het ontvangst, de kamers, de buitenbar en het zwembad zijn echt super.

− L’endroit était beau mais pas incroyable pour un Palace. Le bâtiment très vieux ! Le personnel pas méchant mais très distant et froid, on sent que l’on est juste que des clients. Très cher pour ce que c’est !
