Great quiet refined base for visting a work construction confernce in Leeds !
8.0Great location easy walking distance from the rail station - regular trains for traveling into conference in Leeds. Amazing history behind it's previous famous visitors and truly special ambience.
− The bar closes a little early for food on an evening if you arrive late.

8.0It's a beautiful old building with lovely features. The location is good for exploring Harrogate. The bar was comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was great with attentive staff on hand if you needed anything.
− There wasn't anything we didn't like although the lack of parking could have been a problem but luckily we parked on the road just outside the hotel.
Beautiful old style hotel in a great location
9.0The location of this hotel is outstanding. It is conveniently just off a main street but also towers above some nearby restaurants and local quieter residential area and is within easy reach of the park and the town centre. It's size and history is impressive, and the hotel is well kept considering its age. It has some lovely features such as the original revolving door at the entrance, an impressive dining room, and comfortable well-sized rooms.
− There is only one lift so it takes a while to arrive. Great if you want to exercise the legs!
