Wonderful, a home away from home.
9.0Breakfast wasn’t officially part of the booking but Hannah provided fresh baking on arrival, with a large basket full of fruit and packaged snacks for hiking, as well as a fridge-ful of milk, OJ, yogurts, PB&J, cheese. Hannah was super accommodating in hard-boiling our dozen eggs, obtaining decaf coffee and providing a drying rack after a day of heavy rain. Fabulously comfortable bed, with a variety of pillow thicknesses - found the perfectly thin one and slept like a log every night. Beautiful bathroom, all stocked, super clean. Very cozy living room. Beautiful yard and outdoor deck.

The property was absolutely amazing—beautifully maintained, peaceful, and spacious, with plenty of room for our dogs to run around and enjoy themselves. Every detail of the house and grounds was thoughtfully arranged, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Hannah, our hostess, went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. She greeted us warmly, shared helpful local tips and recommendations, and was always available if we needed anything. Her genuine care and attention to detail truly made our experience special. Whether you’re traveling with pets or just looking for a quiet and amazing space, I can’t recommend The Bluejay Nest enough. It’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking a memorable getaway in Newfoundland!

9.0Very comfortable accommodation, very helpful host. Smart TV in each room was a nice touch, as were the various snacks/breakfast options on offer. Well located, only a short drive to St. John's. Would definitely recommend!
