8.0The hotel had parking which is always a bonus. The room was clean and the bed comfortable .
− The reception and bar decor was a bit dark for my liking but overall a good stay.

A good restaurant with a mediocre hotel attached
7.0Staff were lovely and very helpful and the food was good. Feels like a good place to eat regularly. Bed was comfortable.
− 1. Our room was by a large noisy aircon duct which was on most of the evening and started again next morning with the start of the breakfast serving. Bathroom very cramped had to squeeze round tbe basin to get to the toilet. Thank goodness for noise cancelling headphones. 2. Although the kitchen stocked soya and oat milk there was no dairy free spread available even though I had been assured on checking in the night before that there would be no problem. Not all breakfast / brunch items on the menu available, a lot of items seemed to be missing as we listened to other tables ordering as well as ourselves. 3. TV although a good size was aerial only with poor reception so v few channels to watch. 4. Kettle and mugs in room but no tea/coffee Were we meant to order from the restaurant or bring our own? 5. Hotel seems to be an afterthought tacked onto the catering side. If you try to book on their own website there are no rooms available but if you go to e.g. booking.com they magically appear.
