6.0The pictures of the luxury double rooms with sea views (which is what we had paid for) showed a picture of a bay window with two chairs. Our room did not have a bay window and only had one chair - yes, we did technically have a sea view but you had to stand up! Despite having filtered on parking as that is important to us with an old car, it turned out that the only parking was on-street. I nearly cried on arrival. The rest of the experience was good.

8.0As long as you book with the expectation that this is a relatively low cost hotel you won’t be disappointed. The staff were helpful, the room was basic but clean. It suited my requirements. I think the restaurant was a bit of a let down due to the high cost and lengthy wait for food - maybe I caught them at a bad time and there were no better options nearby. Not a great location if you want to walk to see/do things but there are transport options nearby.

10.0A very well appointed hotel on the Seafront of Douglas. Staff freindly and restaurant was very good. French style menu. The hotel has kept its early years character whilst implementing modern touches to compliment the decor. Room was spacious and again well appointed with all you need, tea/coffee making, flat screen tv, fridge with water snd plenty sockets/ USB charge points. Highly recommend.
