An unexpected gem
9.0We’ve just spent two nights at the Copthorne Hotel. I booked it because of its great price and convenient location close to Legoland. I wasn’t expecting much, but I was completely surprised and so pleased that I chose to book here. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and in a great location. The beds were incredibly comfortable—we genuinely had the best night's sleep we've ever had in a hotel. The staff were welcoming throughout our stay, and we ate in the restaurant one evening. The food was excellent value, very tasty, and you could tell it had been freshly cooked. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been if the pool had been open, so we’re looking forward to returning when it reopens.
− The room itself was a little worn and could do with new carpets, but it was spotlessly clean, which more than made up for it.

− My sons cot didn't have a mattress, he couldn't sleep properly because of it
I travel a lot on business and this unfortunately is one I won’t be staying at again, as not value for money

− Bed very uncomfortable, breakfast was very poor for £15 , everything was very rubbery and I was there early.

There is a limited food service over the Christmas and New Year period.
