This is not a five star hotel. It's a mediocre 4 star hotel at best. You are better off booking a 4 star hotel close

Nice foyer and friendly wait staff

− 1. Broken shower/ bath switch, flashing LED lights above bed, poor upkeep (lots of rust, paint wearing off, stains) 2. Inattentiveness- forgetting shower robes/slippers, forgetting to refill coffee pods 3. Dirty floors in bathroom and bedroom 4. Fire alarm went off at 2am for 10 minutes with no explanation 5. Inattentive valet service which resulted in a traffic jam on the weekend 6. Lack of activities for hotel guests (the one adult activity was cancelled with no alternative offered other than a kids movie) 7. Constant and endless conferences and private events everyday. Drunk hooligans running about in the foyer, causing long lines for concierge, traffic jams 8. On the same day they cancelled the only adult friendly event they also shut down the only games room for another private event 9. Small pool - there are so many lagoons that aren't for swimming in 10. Tables were not cleaned prior to being seated 11. Menu is not 5 star- it includes butter chicken, Caesar salad and spaghetti 12. The AI software in the gym is complicated and difficult to use 13. Poor communication in general and the concierge was not that friendly

Beautiful rooms that appear to have been recently renovated. Clean and spacious. The pool area was incredible. The terraces restaurant squeezed us in without a booking and the service our waiter gave was top tier.

− Only downside was the renovations at Marina Mirage across the road so at breakfast time when the restaurant was very busy there wasn’t another option to venture on foot but not a big deal! Not a negative, just something I should’ve looked into before staying.

Good breakfast selection. Bed was comfortable. Mostly Quiet. Beach was lovely and pathway next to beach good. Pool looked welcoming and felt heated. Some friendly staff about. Clean.

− I really disliked having to use QR codes to find out anything about the place. To order food, to find out about location and restaurants on the premises... everything was set up using QR codes. I may be old fashioned and like to look through a book in the room that tells me all the information about the place, locality, nearby and room service. I can read a menu with ease that way. The TV had some of it, but just not the same. Also for all my years travelling, the majority of hotels offer biscuits with the tea and coffee as complimentary. There were no complimentary extras, which would have been nice. No biscuits on the mini bar either. Carparking had a fee. Trolley with amenities (maybe room service) was noisy travelling down corridors late at night.
