RUDEST employee ever
2.0DO NOT stay here! Extremely RUDE staff. Go to the silver spur instead. Arrived late one night the 2nd week of Jan. Appeared to be 25% full. We rang the night bell - couldn’t tell if it worked or not so we went back to the car to get our phone. A few minutes later, a very disreputable looking man came out of the office. Before we could ask about rooms, he angrily asked why we were walking around the parking lot next to the office. This was the RUDEST person I have EVER met in the hospitality industry. I mentioned this to a local in a cafe and she confirmed that person had a very bad reputation. Finally he lied saying they didn’t have any rooms.
Hostile Owner Shady Location Run Down Drug Den
2.0Aggressive Dog on premises!! Hostile owner!! Bed Bugs and Mold! Owner is extremely rude and shady!! The staff hates the disabled! The owner William Ramsey is known around Burns for his aggressive dog and behavior and has had the police called on him for his dog on multiple accounts. I came down on the Third of December 2025 with my Partner at around 4 Pm to check in as we had a reservation. First things first the Hotel is right next to a bar and looks run down, Other reviews mention Bed Bugs, Doors that do not lock, Mold and unfriendly staff. From my own personal experience Yes the management is very rude, and hostile. When we head inside to check in the owners dog jumped on the lobby counter scaring my partner causing him jump back in surprise and yell. The owner came out saying to find a new place to stay if you hate dogs. This led to my partner having a panic attack due to his disabilities, he has documented PTSD and Generalized anxiety disorder. The owner would not listen would not let us talk and kept interrupting us. My partner tried to explain that he's having a panic attack and that he does not hate dogs. The owner said "I do not care" The owner held the dog back as the dog kept trying to come at my partner. We got threatened with a tress pass warning and another threat of the police called on us. We filed a complaint with management which led to the owner sending a email back justifying his actions saying we put the guests and animals in danger. What guests? There was one car there and so the owner is lying out of his ass. DO not stay here.
Scary... Have to wonder if the fire was due to a meth lab explosion.
2.0Staff was nice enough but everything, else including the fact half the place is roped off and burned is disgusting. I would think AAA, AARP, would have pulled their ‘approval’ of this place long ago and Wyndham/Days Inn should be ashamed to list this place. Old, dirty, torn drapes, uncomfortable old beds with badly stained box springs, stains on the door, which had to be slammed to shut, room next door apparently had been visited by the guy from No country for Old Men because lock was gone from door, just a hole where it had been. Obviously they had a fire here some time ago as half the place is closed down and the burned units are taped off with what seems like months old yellow crime scene type tape. If we didn’t have a non-refundable deposit and there was any other place to stay we would have moved on but after twelve hours of driving we just barricaded ourselves in our room, prayed for no vermin, and tried to get some sleep on the awful mattress.
