IHG Armon Plaza is located a 20-minute drive from the airport, YUL, and provide a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is newly renovated, and has a nice lobby area. The bar and the restaurant is on the lobby level which also is where you find the indoor pool. There is a small gym on the second floor with a few machines, and next door is the guest laundry. The rooms are nice and big and the suites has a kitchenette with a larger fridge and a microwave. If you come by car, there is free parking at the hotel and there is both shopping and restaurants within a few minutes drive from the hotel. The hotel is a good choice for a layover in Montreal.

We stayed one night as a family to utilize the pool and low price. The room was very nice. Beds were so comfy. The pool was cold and fairly scuzzy. My kids loved the slide so it made it worth it but the water level was low and water was murky. The pool floor was slick. Overall it needs an update. Some of the stairs to get into the pool were missing rungs which seems like a safety hazard. Overall if you need a place to land for the night and have young kids, this isn’t a bad spot to rest. The renovations look like they’re coming along nicely.

The staff was rude, there was a wedding going on on the first floor until 2 AM. I had a room on the fifth floor and could literally hear the entire thing. There’s absolutely nothing stopping any of the sound in any of the rooms so I heard my neighbors screaming and yelling until all hours and then I don’t know if the person above me was practicing their model walk, but their heels were going back-and-forth and back-and-forth for hours. On a hardwood floor it was echoing in our room. The location was not convenient for anything and far over priced for what we got. Parking and trying to maneuver the area was atrocious !Do not recommend this place.

Don’t stay here if you want to actually sleep.

Don’t stay on a weekend. The base and music from the weddings will keep you up the entire night. Ridiculous.

The hotel it’s obviously undergoing some beautiful renovations. Right now it is the middle of being mediocre and updated at the same time. But overall I felt so disappointed with our stay. We came just for the pool. We didn’t need a hotel per se but we wanted to spend a fun day with our kids at the pool. When we got here at check in it was closed due to problems until 630. We waited and when it finally opens it had a gross yellow film all over it. The pool guy was like, this is normal! But IMP I’ve never seen this. It looked like swirling yellow diareah. At first I complained that I was very disappointed bc we came just for this feature and the front desk didn’t offer anything. I came again and they offered us a free breakfast, which was good but I felt they should have offered it automatically without me asking. At breakfast (which was very expensive and truly not great) we got a small jug of coffee with our breakfast. When it was done, we asked for a refill and she brought one. Afterwards, after we drink it, she tells us the coffee refill was $10!!! Like, what?! 4 measurement cups of drip coffee from a diner!? Shocking. Another unpleasant thing was the bathroom has no fan. So one kiddo did a poop, and our room smelt like poop for the whole evening after. Yuck. I would not come back
