9.0The Griffin inn is excellent for my stay clean and tidy
− The staff when busy no people skills made you feel not welcome
Clean and comfy. But no breakfast
4.0This did not provide breakfast, it seemed to be short staffed, we ordered a meal when we got there, which was mediocre, the area was brilliant, the outside seating for the pub was good full of young people, tables, inside the pub and outside was not cleared, my overall seeing the pub made me a bit anxious

Comfy and clean rooms. Good value for money.
8.0Really big room. Very clean, good bathroom and comfy bed. Felt secure despite being attached to the pub. You have to expect some noise because it is a pub but it was OK even with windows open.
− Given the football was on, and the pub was heaving, they didn't have enough bar staff. Solution was just to order 2 pints to avoid a return visit though!
Was going to Knowsley safari park the next day so was a good location
