Excellent Birthday “Staycation” at the Westin

Stayed here with a group of friends last weekend for my birthday “staycation” (we all live in Bluffton/savannah/charleston). The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful to our group since we got there early because we had rented the pool cabana from 10-7 Saturday, which was such a great time. The pool servers were very attentive and all the food we ordered for lunch was very good. The Westin was kind enough to upgrade all of our rooms and even upgraded me to the Presidential suite which was incredible! Unfortunately we had a bad experience for my birthday dinner at the Aqua Star restaurant, but, the Westin tried their best to make up for it by delivering chocolate strawberries to my room, a fruit platter in the morning, and credited me 12,000 Bonvoy points which was appreciated. Me and a few of my friends went to the spa Sunday morning for massages which was a wonderful experience and a great way to end the weekend. After we had checked out, I noticed I was charged an extra night of valet so I called to inquire and they immediately took the charge off with no issue. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay, I will definitely be back for another “staycation” or a resort pass at the Westin in the future!

The Westin Savannah Harbor Spa amazing experience and staff & service recommendations

This is my second time visiting the Westin Savannah Harbor Spa, and this experience was just as wonderful as my visit last year! Last year, I had a deep tissue massage, and it was wonderful. I don’t remember who did my service last year, but my experience was amazing. This time was no exception! I was greeted by Wimon, who gave me a tour of the spa, which included a large locker room with individual lockers that you have unlimited access to for your items in exchange for a luxurious robe and sliders. There is a steam room, a sauna, showers, and there are hair products/tools and lotions out for your convenience. There is a relaxation room with beautiful lighting, comfortable reclined chairs, spa music, and a blanket for use. Wimon was there to provide champagne, water, a neck warmer, and pretty much anything you needed to make sure you were comfortable and relaxed. I did a body wrap service called the Southern Marsh Wrap, and Adrian was amazing!! She was only supposed to put this serum/lotion on my body then put me in a wrap, but she went above and beyond and pretty much gave me a full body massage while applying the serum/lotion. While my body was in the wrap, she gave me an amazing foot massage and scalp massage also. Adrian made me feel super comfortable and relaxed. After my treatment, I was greeted by Wimon with another neck warmer and I did the red light mask treatment. I would absolutely recommend Adrian, the Southern Marsh Wrap, their massages, the staff, and The Westin Savannah Harbor Spa! Property was clean. Staff were very nice. Good location to Convention Center.

− Very expensive. Several hundred dollar difference in what Booking charged and the final payment that was due with all the extra hotel charges that were not included in the initial Booking price.

Horrible nightmare experience.

The Westin says they never got my reservation, so when I tried to move up my early arrival, they had no record of my reservation through Booking.com. I never checked in as I had no reservation, but they had my credit card information and have now charged my card for a room that I was told by them I didn't have. Hmmm, how is this possible??

− No reservation, no room, but I got charged for one.

I don't care to stay again. Not worth the cost.

Pool. Location.

− Bed was so uncomfortable. Breakfast food was cold and didn't taste good. No flavor. Dry.

Clean, beautiful view and great amenities. Perfect view of July 4th fireworks with children activities the entire weekend.
