Location. Pool and gym were clean and central

− Some staff seemed tired and overwhelmed, especially the older woman at the front desk. She was unhelpful and seemed irritated she was there. I would just avoid her.

Clean and convenient

− Two desk clerks explained why the Motel had to double charge on prepaid bookings made through Booking.com. On third day, a surprised clerk went through the entries, identified the double payment as an error and promised to correct the duplicate purchase sent to Navy Federal as mistaken overcharges, reduce the amount from $269 to $50 and identify it as a pending room deposit (in case of theft or destruction). (I occupied the room as a single). Thankfully she was successful. I managed to retain a copy of the entry paperwork just in case.

− TV, wifi, furniture unusable. Drawers not working, hardware missing. Tables unstable...

Overall OK place, would not stay there again, staff didn't make you feel like a valued/wanted guest

Breakfast was ok, Food that was prepared was ok at best. The Pastry was really good for both days, the biscuits and gravy were ok and so were the pancakes (one undercooked). The fruit did not taste fresh, we only tried two items off the "special menu" and would not order again if we had to pay. The room was comfortable, Bed (King) was very nice and clean (could use an extra pillows. The shower head was a very fine water streams which did not really seem to wet you down, if that makes sense. The door to Room was stuck and had to really push to get it open, all doors had a metal kick plate on bottom that you could tell was used to get the door open. The place was clean although had a weird musty clorox smell.

− The staff were not very friendly except for the Guy (he was exceptional and wish he was there all the time) that was there when we checked in. The 2 ladies were not friendly at all and barely looked at you or greeted you. First day we arrived we had one water bottle (complimentary) for 2 guests, next asked for another one and the lady wanted to charge $2.00. Ask if it was complimentary for our daily stay and was informed only first day and only one bottle. Asked for a late checkout for Sunday morning, place was not busy but she would not help us, just got a reply that NO they cannot do that. Asked why? and reply was we are understaffed? Did not make sense but I just thanked her and left. At Checkout I asked if anything else was needed for Checkout, got a "You need to be checked out by 12", I replied I am just asking if anything else is needed for me to checkout, she replied with "no and just put your room key there in slot". Traveled to many places and hotels and I have to say again, the 2 ladies at front desk at just rude and not helpful at all.
