− No air conditioner. Door knobs nearly falling off. No room to walk around the bed. Poor after hours check in direction.
Disappointing stay despite the perfect location
8.0I absolutely loved the location. It’s very close to Stanley Park, and if you walk straight down the street, you’ll reach English Bay. For those who enjoy walking, it’s even possible to explore all the way to Granville Island. My dogs were very comfortable, and with two bedrooms, we enjoyed a lot of privacy.
− There were a few downsides. The bathroom was much smaller than expected. Since it's an older building, the elevator is a manual system where you have to open and close the doors yourself, which was quite inconvenient when moving with heavy luggage. Also, at the building entrance, there is a slope with stairs instead of a luggage-friendly pathway, making it quite difficult to bring bags inside. On top of that, we were quite shocked to find large brown spider-like insects in the kitchen and bathroom. Additionally, based on Gemini's recommendation, I walked all the way to the dog beach at English Bay, but it was honestly disappointing. There were barely any people or dogs around, making me regret making the trip. My dogs didn't even care to run around and play.
