Secret getaway
9.0The location is beautiful and tranquil, and the sunsets are amazing. The garden is a lovely place to chill listening to nature whilst relaxing in the swinging chair. Great hosts Hilary and Nick alongside their 2 dogs, cat and 2 horses who made us feel so welcome Tasty full English breakfast which we had served in the garden so we could enjoy the beautiful weather. Fridge provided in the room with fresh milk, water and biscuits.
− We stayed in the stable room which was on the very warm side due to the high temperatures. We did have a Dyson fan provided and able to open the velux window.
Stayed two nights to attend graduation at Loughborough, not enough time to appreciate the views .

10.0Everything was a wonderful stay and lovely place. Hosts friendly and welcoming. Cosy room with beautiful garden to relax in. A few touches like books to read, games fidge with milk and water. Just a magical stay in beautiful location. Thank-you
Quirkiness but superb
9.0Quirky, remote, brilliant host, exceptional breakfast. If you are looking for a boring, corporate hotel with faceless staff, fluffy white towels and mini boutique toiletries, then this is not for you. However if you fancy something slightly off the beaten track with a bohemian feel, an excellent, friendly host an outstanding breakfast, beautiful surroundings,mismatched towels, full size toiletries then this is for you!
− A little on the small size to what we are used to, but we are now a lot older, more portly and less flexible.
Overnight stay at Bybrook Barn
9.0Hillary is a very friendly and likeable woman, who makes an amazing breakfast. The room was small but extremely comfortable and the location for us was great. There is a lovely pub called The Griffin Inn just a short drive away in the village which has good pub food.
