The property is an oasis! Sol, Eduardo, Geronimo, and everyone on staff helped make your stay at Sueño del Mar absolutely incredible! Sol and Eduardo helped us book all of our tours and transport. This was so nice because there was a tropical storm at the beginning of our trip so we had to alter when we went on some of the tours. Sol also upgraded our room due to the tropical storm, which was so unexpected and made the stay even better! I could not say enough amazing things about Sueño Del Mar! Lily makes the most amazing breakfasts I’ve ever had in my life. She will pack you to go breakfasts too for your early morning tours!! And the coffee is incredible! Lily also makes a wonderful authentic Costa Rican lunch as well. Each room is exquisitely designed and decorated. We also got a few visits from the howler monkeys which made the stay that much more wonderful! Thank you all so much for helping make our 8yr anniversary the best it could have possibly been!! We will never forget this place and all the lovely people here! I also have to mention we absolutely loved watching the sunset from the B&B and sunrise from the rock a short 5 minute walk down the beach. Sueño del Mar is perfect if you want to have a little privacy while also being about a mile from all the hustle and bustle in tamarindo. My husband and I walked down the beach many days for dinner enjoying all the views and mixture of beautiful sand, shells, and volcanic rock! And the tours you don’t want to miss—La Leona and La Ducha waterfalls and do not skip the white water tubing this is for your adventurous heart and the Buena vista combo tour-we loved everything including the zip lining, horseback riding, jungle waterslide, lunch, and volcanic sauna and hot springs!! If you have a free day, don’t miss the Rio Celeste tour. It takes longer to get there (about 2.5hrs) and bring a rain jacket, but the waterfall is stunning and the sloths were so cute!!

An exceptional experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming - it’s as if they are welcoming you into their home. The place is stunning and our family room was just perfect. The breakfast was incredible each morning and it felt like waking up in paradise. We really couldn’t have asked for more. The bonus is the monkeys - they’re there each morning and evening in the mango tree.

− The only issue was the mosquitos made it impossible to sit on our little terrace and use our outdoor bathroom comfortably.

Amazing! Beautiful accommodations. Lovely beach. Quiet. Clean.

Best part of my trip. Beautiful boutique hotel right on a quiet beach. Rooms were clean and bed was incredibly comfortable. Have your own private outdoor shower with all the sounds of crashing waves and monkeys. Wish I would have stayed here the entire trip
