Fine Place to Stay in Williamsburg Area
8.0I needed to be in town for two nights to attend events surrounding the memorial for a partner’s wife. This Holiday Inn Express was clean, comfortable, a quiet, and conveniently located. I didn’t need breakfasts, because my events involved meals; if I had, I would have been bothered that breakfast wasn’t included in the room price as it is at most Holiday Inns. Nothing fancy, but very well maintained and managed.
Disaster!
4.0Technology at its worst. Card room access down for 3 whole (plus before and after we were there) days. Had to be escorted by a staff member with a special access chip. to get into the room. Therefore, coming ang going were a major pain in the butt. As a vresult we had to limit what and when we wanted to do. The room was nice and spacious, except the bathroom was claustrophic. Difficult for seniors or those with bad joints to take a shower in the tiny tub. unusual that there were no elevators near the front desk. Had to go on a hike to go to our room. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. I did notice the attendant replacing the scrambled eggs (either powdered or liquid bagged per taste) as scheduled - corporate policy?
Bad billing
2.0Over billed after leaving by 3 nights. Fought with them for a month. I was constantly told their computers were down but the still checked people in and out daily during this entire time. Last week I was reimbursed half of what I was over charged 1 month after bringing this to their attention.
Perfect three night stay
10.0We have visited Williamsburg Va many times over the years and our one complaint every visit is that the various hotels we stayed were not good and we would definitely return to Williamsburg but pick a different hotel.Well our search is over.This was a perfect three day stay Thursday through Sunday.Check in was very Friendly,Room was clean and quiet,garbage was changed and fresh towels left every day while we were sightseeing,Pool was clean and nice,Breakfast buffet area was adequately stocked up and clean.We will return to this hotel for our next and every visit to Williamsburg
Excellent choice both for business and vacation
10.0Very clean quite comfortable reasonably priced and very comfortable hotel. Conveniently located the highways, food and malls.

10.0Parking was secure. Room was clean and I enjoyed the new standard of Dove soap. Beds were comfortable and the HVAC unit worked perfectly. Staff were very friendly and professional. I can't wait to come back next year when we visit Water Country USA.
