It was a good location for us

− Very tired and dated, most of the rooms are rented to the council which meant the occupants were hanging around all day it made it feel intimidating

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gut geeignet, wenn man keine Ausziehcouch benötigt. Lieber zwei verbundene Zimmer buchen.

Gute Lage, leicht erreichbar, sehr hundefreundlich, das Zimmer war sauber. Gutes Frühstücksangebot. Sehr nettes Personal.

− Wir hatten ein Zimmer für 4 Erwachsene gemietet. Es gab ein Queensize-Bett (das war recht bequem) und eine Ausziehcouch, die schon für zwei Erwachsene wirklich nicht breit genug war (maximal 120 cm) und wirklich unbequem. Man hatte Angst, dass sie nachts zusammenbricht und an manchen Stellen lag man auf den Sprungfedern. Ich habe kein Auge zugemacht. Beim Frühstück waren die Teller, die Gläser und das Besteck leider nicht ganz sauber. Es waren überall Rückstände aus der Spülmaschine dran.

Location was perfect for what we wanted

− There appeared to be people living in the hotel, the hall way had smells of cooking food, not ideal.

Hotel more like a hostel

Good location as we were visiting family nearby. It was clean enough and the staff we dealt with were very pleasant.

− This hotel is being used by the council to house homeless people. We were not told of this before we came. There are children running around and people walking around in their pyjamas. There are also people hanging around the entrance smoking late at night. I have every sympathy with them as it cannot be easy living in a hotel room, especially with young children. Due to the warm weather people had their doors wedged opened and there were bags of rubbish and laundry lying in the corridor. There was also a sign forbidding "council guests" from accessing the corridor hotel guests were in which I felt was singling them out and labelling them. Breakfast was like a canteen with children running around and a free for all really. Dreadful experience and I feel really ripped off and that I paid a fairly decent amount of money to live in a homeless hostel. Will not return.
