10.0Stayed here for one night on our Tassie trip, George Town itself has limited accommodation but is well worth the visit, great history and scenery, it was very windy when we were there which limited our sight seeing but the museums were definitely worst visiting. The Comfort Inn met our needs, lovely spacious and clean room. Comfortable bed and good shower, what more is need. No breakfast sadly but there is a great bakery in town, the cafe was closed the day we were there!
Great hotel in the centre of Georgetown.
8.0Stayed for two nights. The rooms are small holiday style bungalows. Each has its own parking space. Lovely view to the front of the River Tamar. Kettle/cuttlery/plates in the room. WiFi was good. The actual hotel has a public bar and restaurant. The restaurant is a MUST visit. The food was lovely and plentiful and very reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and informative. The hotel is situated just off the Main Street and very close to shops and restaurants, and alongside the waterfront. Main supermarket is just a two minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.
