The location was good. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean and I quite enjoyed my stay there. It was a business trip and I felt like I got what I came for when I was there. I'm only a bit sad that I didn't get to try the pool :)

Well...we stayed here a few years ago and we were thrilled with the hotel. It was so nice and we recommended to a lot of our friends when they were coming down for races. However, after this stay, I can no longer recommend it to them. We booked a suite with two queens and a pull out sofa. This is so the kids can have their own beds, especially after sharing one at Universal all week. However, when we went to make the sofa bed up for the evening, the mattress protector...not the mattress...was heavily stained with who knows what. So they had to share a bed and we ate the expense of having a sofa bed we couldn't use. There were quite a few mosquitos in the room. The windows don't open so I am not fully sure how they got in there, but we were able to get them, thankfully. No one wants to get eaten by mosquitos while they are sleeping. The bedroom tv really sucked. It kept glitching and pixelating so we really couldn't watch anything to wind down. There was an extremely loud rattle in the a/c in the bedroom area which made it hard to sleep. Also, in the living room area with the sofa bed, there was butterscotch or caramel or something (I wasn't getting down to inspect too closely) on the bottom of the tv stand and a little onto the floor right in front of it. How housekeeping missed it, I really have no idea. The bathroom area was fine. There was enough room for toiletries and the shower had decent pressure. Be prepared to carry your stuff because there were never any carts any time we walked past the cart area. The front desk staff was extremely nice and the one saving grace about the hotel. We had to go down and get a parking pass from them for the stay and she was really just the sweetest! Breakfast in the morning was typical Hampton fare and was good. We plan on some more visits to Charlotte in the upcoming year to visit with friends, but we will not be staying here next time.

Breakfast was wonderful. The sweet little lady who watched over everything was just like grandma.

The staff were very polite especially Ryan at the front desk was very polite .My check in was quick and easy!

− The only complaint was the cover on the bed. The top cover had clumps in the inside and very thin.
