Our stay lasted less than 10 minutes because of the unacceptable way my family was treated from the
1.0I didnot eat breakfast there.
− After an 8 hour drive from Saskatoon, my family checked into the hotel around 6:00 p.m. Within approximately three minutes of arriving in our room, the manager sent staff to complain about excessive noise, claiming our children were jumping. This was simply untrue. One child was taking a shower, and our one year old is not even capable of jumping. When I spoke with the manager at the front desk, his tone was rude, disrespectful, and felt discriminatory. He threatened that if the noise continued, we would be forcibly removed from the hotel. Being treated this way immediately after arriving, without any attempt to understand the situation, was humiliating and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the hotel itself is old and the floors are extremely squeaky, something any guest can easily verify. Rather than addressing the condition of the property, the manager chose to intimidate a tired family who had just completed a long journey. I immediately decided to leave the hotel after only about 10 minutes and checked into the Holiday Inn instead, where the staff were welcoming, respectful, and professional. The difference in customer service was remarkable and highlighted just how unacceptable my experience at your hotel had been. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had, and we left feeling insulted, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed.
Enjoyable stay in spite of reno going on.
7.0Lovely cleaning staff! We were asking for wine glasses and our girl went downstairs to get them from the bar…much appreciated! Room was clean and fresh each of the days we stayed there. Our room looked like it has been recently renovated. It was lovely!
− Lots of the hotel needs a good face lift and some TLC. The hallways and stairways look a little rough.

2.0− Hotel was under construction and had scaffolding covering the entire place. Staff was good and refunded our money
I'd stay here again
8.0Easy access for us to visit family and access to the mountains. We stayed in a King size bed suite. Kitchenette was adequate, we only used the microwave and fridge/freezer but they had a stove top in the suite. Safeway nearby to pick up food. Value was good considering we had a room on the construction side viewing scaffolding during a weekend stay. We weren't there to see the view across the road either so pull the blind down and you're good to go. If view isn't a thing maybe negotiate a construction side price. Room/bed/bathroom were visibly clean. Breakfast was decent. I'm fairly sure it's the 5 gallon pail liquid egg omelette along with sausage one day and bacon the next. Waffles, toast, oatmeal and fruit all available along with coffee and tea. If you have some dietary restrictions I guess it's back to Safeway and use your kitchenette if you have one. I'd stay here again.
