4.0Kamers zijn prima. Ontbijt is bedroevend slecht.

8.0Nice hotel. Air conditioning was terrible. The Staff gave us a fan but the room was horribly hot.

4.0I liked the location
A metro ride to this hotel one full of travel experience and more
6.0First hard to locate when you take the metro from Rotterdam as its a different line and both metro stations title voorburg are 1.1 or 1.7 miles from location note there is tram no 2 across street from hotel and bus station connection. Which the indications are central hague but tram two when taken appears to head north only several stops to metro central where the metro ends ( different lines) bus 45 or 46 has turnabout at station tram 2. Unfortunately the many voorburg named train/ metro stops make correct connection difficult so our 2 50 plus lbs roller luggage was a long first day travel experience from Rotterdam port of call. Note the metro from the port was an easy 2/300 meters .. this new holiday inn with new un touristy hired staff could tell us nothing about the train/ tram across the street. Its location is only minutes walk to lower hague. Very convenient. There are two ice cream stores in the hague but the lower on closest to the hotel has a grocery store 9-9 hours and prices are good less then most considering iceland norway and now Netherlands. Its the only one in the hague odd witha new major store coming at end of 2026. On sunday only most not all restaurants open we chose a japanese restaurant across main street from hague and we saw a few patrons to be inviting but as we ate delicious foods the place got very busy for the single host. Prices acceptable. Oh during day train noise brief in passing but at night nothing heard. THe AC low limited to none felt. There is a window that tills in open for a draft when got not effective when cool works well. Another guest wss heard complaining about no AC in his room. But he was also concerned he had no tv in his language. We are on 2 floor open interior space with not gym on 9th floor yet to be explored . NO mini fridge and no ice in hotel or at least the front desk directed to ho to connected restaurant for it. Twice went and first time guy nice but an item found in bottom of cup like gray cylinder shaped rice kernel size something didn’t use lower ice cube and second time bartender female not pleasant couldn’t find two cups for ice so i went back yo hotel to grab some coffee cups to provide her for my ice request which she fid say thank you for the cups… no bugs in cups of ice.. the bar restaurant is dark and large and attractive if you like a darken ambience some patrons are there but very few for its size so quiet. Elevator is small rectangle but quick of course we are on floor 1. With partial view towards station. Most of time no front desk host present and 3 times during next day staff knocked some just walked in but chain locked my impression to do so first ever to ask when we were leaving (note in our multi stay booking) …there is both street front and I underground specific hotel parking. Not sure of fee or included. Street parking appears safe. This morning Monday someone is wall taping allot that is heard quite easily as its sound carries all too well not sure or source or purpose. Its intermittent twice first long duration stop the 30-60 minutes later a burst of 5 minute taping Beds are very comfortable as was bed in Reykjavik hotel review but note only nice down comforter no sheet so it gets very hot 2nd night we have airline like covers that worked well with window opened. No Frig showers toilet nice amenities inBR very inviting. 2 chairs in room. Entry floor has minor for fee self serve coffee sods chip some candies etc all better priced at the Albert grocery store already mentioned remember its the only one in the hague. Hoping to venture to beach today not far by tram/ train/bus as several locals recommend its visit. Otherwise not too adventurous as we leave for Amsterdam tomorrow aloha travel well and safe as yesterday we were dropped off at distance station and informed to catch the 3 or 4 team back to the voorburg which we did but also did not know that tram not metro system and had to walk toward our previous known area and missed the bus stop spot going in our direction following street arrows until we found a designated street bus stop. Note stepping off tram to street level directly across the street in opposite direction was a bus stop so we walked 1/2 mile to finally catch a bus no. 45 or 46. Note on buses you must tap in and tap out when you leave to pay/ ride it and only one card per person is allowed the bus driver informed us… not sure if tram train works the same as we used one card for two/ each rider but did not tap out … note metro you must pre purchase a paper ticket … ciao
