Average at best. Not worth the price but having a good gym encouraged me to to stay there..
7.0I liked the staff. They were very helpful. However, they were missing the finishing touches that I enjoy in a hotel. For instance, I stay in a lot of hotels across Ireland and Europe. I am a big coffee drinker. One of the things that I love so much is a Nespresso Machine or even a copy of one in my room. I enjoy a real coffee in the morning. What I have found is that most hotels have this..However, this hotel didn't. They had the cheap Nescafe sachets, which are disgusting. I also felt the room needs a major refurbishment. It was very outdated with natty carpet..I ate in the restaurant on the first night, I orderd a Capresse salad to start with. It was terrible, it had heated bread instead of toast and the rest of it lacked a fresh taste..I had steak for the main, it was ok at best. Also, for the price of €200 per night, I expected breakfast to be included. It wasn't, so I went down town and had great food in the cafes there. Overall, a very average hotel for the price. However with a few tweaks and changes, it could be a good hotel.

Dirty & Dated
4.0Location perfect for going to a wedding nearby in Fernhill
− Bathroom in room was dirty, drain in sink needed work and took forever to drain. Room VERY dated, carpet worn, amenities lacking. Beds very uncomfortable. Overall for too expensive for what you get, would not be in a rush back. Swimming pool changing rooms also in desperate need of a good deep clean.

9.0This is a superb family hotel with so many activities for children ,staff are so helpful and would go out of their way to help with anything.
