− Could use a microwave in room…there was constant noise of slamming doors and loudness in the hall room…the bathroom door in 412 didn’t shut all the way..it needs fixed…had to ask for washcloths and towels so maybe have room prepared a lil more. Would like to have a room with a bathtub as well.

1.0− I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. When I checked into my room, I noticed ants in several areas, which was both unpleasant and unacceptable. A clean and pest-free room should be a basic expectation for any hotel. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. When I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, the lady working there was very rude and unprofessional. Instead of trying to help resolve the problem, she seemed annoyed and dismissive of my concerns. Between the ant problem and the poor treatment from staff, my stay was far from enjoyable. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.
Was like staying in a post WWII Soviet Union Collective Apartment.
3.0It was in a quiet location. Sleeping was sound.
− Staff at Reception desk not friendly. Pointed out that reservation was made through a 3rd Party. Insisted on a $150.00 deposit for potential damages. That was a 1st. Coffee or Tea only available in the lobby. Ice maker was disgusting. I have pictures
Transitioning from Choice chain to IHG
8.0Ideal location if taking the MARC Commuter Rail from or to Washington. Monocacy station is 15 minutes walk. On arrival I had a bit of a shock as it is changing hands from Choice Sleep Inn to IHG. However no issues with my reservation. A lot of the rooms are out of use pending refurbishment for the new chain. My room was a newly refurbished one so could well have been better. Two double beds. Everything else fine Bathroom was good. WiFi worked well. Breakfast was basic grab and go with coffee. The small area for sitting down has all the chairs put upon the tables so not really providing a facility to sit down. Again maybe part of the transition from Choice to IHG.
