10.0We were in the loft Suite 580. It was perfect for a family with three teenagers. The deck view and accommodations were outstanding. Unfortunately, during our stay, it rained quite a bit, but overall, the suite was perfect for our family trip. We strongly recommend HOP!

2.0I had high expectations based on the name “HOP Apartments & Suites,” but sadly, this property falls far short of what you’d expect from anything labeled a suite. There is no staff onsite—everything is supposedly “digital,” but the system is unreliable and frustrating. There’s no one to speak to when things go wrong, and getting any assistance feels impossible. The owner seems focused on cutting costs at the guest’s expense. You’re charged extra for basic things like towels, cleaning, and even creamer for your coffee—which you’re expected to buy from a malfunctioning vending machine. No bed sheet changes, no housekeeping, no service of any kind. It honestly felt like they were trying to squeeze every last cent from guests. The only redeeming quality is the location—right by the beautiful Aare river. But that’s not enough to make up for the lack of hospitality and the dismissive attitude of the manager, who refused to acknowledge simple issues (like the vending machine not accepting my card), instead deflecting with vague promises of calling a technician. Overall, this place felt more like a self-serve hostel than a proper suite. I would not stay here again.
