I have been waiting for my room over 45 mins The room I was given looked like a Reject room The bed was low to the floor There was one night stand And the other was replaced with a chair (very poor)

We stayed here for Carnival week and arrived Thursday and did not receive any house keeping until we checked out a week later. Room was cheap for Carnival but understandably so. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Felt safe in location but it isn't a walkable area and need to get transportation to anywhere in Port of Spain. No phone in room. No safe, which is essential. Bathroom very dated with bathtub painted with latex white paint so was peeling off during showers. Water pressure in shower good. Property and rooms need renovations and upgrades. Would not stay again.
