− When I arrived, I had to put a $40.00 deposit down for “incidentals”. My children did buy some snacks but I don’t think they can to $40.00. I never received a breakdown of the incidental charges.

Great, but for breakfast.

Location was good, price was good, Room was excellent.

− Breakfast was so,so, bad. One of my quirks is a nice breakfasts without much effort. The area was clean enough, selection was not all that good, seating was not great, and what food was put out, was in short supply, staff must have been on break.

Perfect property for multi day stay

Staff was very nice and helpful. All main areas along with our room appeared clean. Housekeeping staff was always visible. They were also very nice and did a great job. Again, everything appeared clean. No offensive odors anywhere. Breakfast area was always clean and well stocked. Here, staff were always nice, as well. Room was spacious and had the perfect layout for two people. I liked how the “living room” area had the desk and refrigerator/microwave cupboard tucked around a corner. This was a nice feature since my daughter and I have different sleep schedules. I could do what I wanted to do in the morning without disturbing her too much. Location was good and close to restaurants and stores, and about 5-10 minutes from the specialist my daughter was seeing during our 5 day stay. Even though there seemed to be a lot of people staying here it was very quiet. We travel with a sound machine anyway so I can manage noise (within reason) at night. I’m sure this may not always be true, but it was for us. I noticed the quiet. There was a laundry room available, but we ended up not using it. Love the convenience of having it though. Fitness room appeared clean and well appointed. I used the treadmill 3 times. I did notice a musty smell. One time it was incredibly strong. The guest key entry was either disabled or not working properly. We had hoped to use the pool since we were staying for daily intensive physical therapy sessions and thought it would be nice for my daughter to unwind. It didn’t work after all due to her having extreme fatigue after her sessions, but I don’t think we would have used it anyway. It appeared slightly “neglected.” Water-somewhat cloudy. Deck looked like it needed a good clean. We are a competitive swim family/pool owners and are familiar with how pool water should look. Not horrible, but not great? I saw people using it, but I wouldn’t have during our stay. Just seems like an afterthought as far as maintenance goes?

− My pet peeve with ALL hotels is the lack of hanging bars or hooks in the bathroom and this was no exception. It would be nice to have more options especially if you’re traveling as a family. I don’t need a fresh towel set every day as long as I can hang up the used ones to dry properly. The one towel bar and one door hook isn’t going to cut it. Maybe single overnight guests can manage but a multi-day stay with more than one person in the room needs somewhere to hang towels. Especially if the hotel is requesting guests help conserve water, electricity, etc by not having a daily linen/towel refresh. Just my two cents.
