− The line to check in was so long and so slow. They only had 1 kid checking people in. The TV was broken. The breakfast was terrible. They told us they didn't get a food delivery so they didn't have anything except hot water, oatmeal packets, some plain bread and juice that was warm and had gone bad. The room had mold, dead bugs and HAIR in the tub, sink and on the toilet. I am glad we had lysol wipes but we shouldn't have to clean our own room! At checkout i wanted to talk to someone but the girl at the desk wouldn't get off her personal phone call and yelled at us to just stop our keys in the bucket. She wouldn't even come to the front desk to help us. I really would like a refund. I will never stay at another Wyndham owned again!

Major Renovations Needed

The hotel is a great location to FloridaStateUniversity and downtown Tallahassee. Breakfast was always hot and fresh.

− The hotel is very run down. Paint is peeling off the walls in the breakfast area and the carpet needs to be cleaned. It is a very old hotel and major renovations are needed. Access to the pool was closed. The door to the entry of the pool said "staff only." The description on Booking.com says that the hotel has a pool, but the hotel doesn't let you use it.

For the price, comfortable bed, location and friendly staff made the stay-ok

− Overall the hotel needs an upgrade. Ive stayed at this location multiple and have watched it run down. Things were broken, weird smells, rooms not well venilated felt wet and damp, rusted shower, chipped paint, dust. Just need a complete makeover.

Extremely disappointing experience: incorrect charges, cheap food, and total disregard for the guest

− My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. From the moment I arrived, the reception service was unpleasant and unprofessional. The staff were rude and unwelcoming. At check-in, they informed me that they needed my driver's license and a credit card for a $150 security deposit. I provided everything requested and went up to my room. The problem is that, subsequently, the hotel used my card details to charge $158.37, practically the same amount I had already paid in advance through Booking.com, which was $158.36. In other words, they charged me almost the same amount again, changing only one cent in the final price. I requested clarification directly from reception and also filed a complaint through the Booking.com app, requesting a refund, but I was simply ignored. As if that weren't enough, the television in the room didn't work from the first day. I informed reception and asked someone to check the problem the following day. No one resolved it. The next day, I complained again at reception and also reported the problem to the person in charge, who appeared to be the hotel manager. Even so, nothing was done. Faced with the lack of a solution, I went to the Booking.com app and formally registered the complaint in writing, again requesting that the problem be resolved. Even so, I remained at the hotel for seven days and the television was never repaired. The room cleaning was also extremely unsatisfactory. During my entire seven-day stay, the room was cleaned only once, and even then very poorly. I requested cleaning and a change of towels and, to my surprise, I found cockroaches on the towels and also inside the bathroom, including in the bathtub.
