The Old Parsonage, but a New Favourite
8.0I had a wonderful time at this hotel over the course of my four day stay. The location is convenient to central Oxford with the walkable proximity to restaurants and to all the colleges available for sightseeing. The hotel blends the vintage with modern English style. My room was comfortable, although was not cleaned adequately and left me with someone else's clothing. For a hotel in this price range, the cost is generally reasonable. The expensive accommodations are justified with the quality and the great restaurant located in the hotel. The hotel is generally quiet, and the thin walls do not allow for much privacy when it is occupied. I received excellent service. The staff were warm, kind, and helpful and the in room tea and coffee station and mini fridges are appreciated. The one incident with the first night's housekeeping was the one downfall to a stay I enjoyed and would recommend to anyone coming to visit Oxford.
