9.0It was our second time staying at The Hoxton Rome. I would describe it as cozy, laid-back, and a treat for design lovers. I love the neighborhood and its local vibe, far from the touristy chaos of the city center.
− One thing that bothered us, though, was what happened on our last night. We got back from a wedding around 3 a.m., and at that time, a note was slipped under our door asking us to call reception because the credit card on file wasn’t working. We obviously would have stopped by reception the following morning to check out and could have dealt with it then, so we found it quite unnecessary to contact us in the middle of the night over something that could easily have waited until morning. Especially since this was our second stay at The Hoxton Rome and we had previously stayed the year before, with a positive history as guests, we felt that the way this was handled by the person at reception was simply unfortunate and could have been dealt with much more thoughtfully. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back S2
