Good stay for a couple of days

− Area, unsocial behaviour opposite hotel. No aircon, weather not your fault obviously but it was sooooo hot! Fan in room helped. Breakfast was good but hash browns were quite hard.

7.0The room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. I appreciated the breakfast options in particular, both the English and Continental ones.
− The staff wasn't always very friendly. The location is convenient for the city centre and if you need to take the trams, but the surrounding neighbourhood is shady. The room had an air conditioning machine, but a sign on the wall warned that it should not be used to cool down the room, but rather to heat it. This was especially relevant due to the heatwave that was happening during my stay, and disappointing considering that I stayed in an Ibis in Manchester some days after, where my room was identical to that in Sheffield, but the air conditioning there worked as such.
