Great stay - Incredible View
8.0Overall it was a great stay. There is an incredible view. Unfortunately the hot tub on the balcony is really small...fits for one normal adult or two tiny people. My 10 year old loved it. The room was a little dated, but everything worked and they resolved maintenance issues quickly. Several of the staff were very attentive and made us feel special while we were there: Eduardo - the bellman, Carla - front desk, Dulce Cardosa - housekeeping, Rene, Cesaria and Ivan at the swim up bar/restaurant. Thanks for a great week.
Decent non AI resort
8.0Club Regina March 1-15, 2026 Puerto Vallarta We spent two weeks here. The rooms are decent but very dated and simple. If you plan to cook, keep it simple as there is limited cookware. We made due, between cooking in simple and dining out. The service is somewhat slow around pool. There are a decent number of loungers but a lack of umbrellas..plenty but need even more. Pools are nice. Beach is not great but they made an area on site for sitting in sand with palapas.. The maid service was ok. We like the location for walking to marina with restaurants on the way as well. Secure resort. Would return again
Two weeks in the Sun!
10.0We traveled from Seattle and did not realize the Alaska Airlines non-stop flight was not available. Doesn't fly on Sundays. We arrived at CR around 4 pm. Check in was ok, no personality. No smiles or welcoming gesture. Getting around PV was easy (Taxi or Uber). PV likes to use cobble sttones for roads off the main freeway. The "Mexican Massage" wears you out. Costco and Walmart are the two USA brands but local grocery stores tend to have smaller sized portions. Bring a translator app, you will neeed it. We had a Grand Suite Unit (2 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a kitchen with a full size refrigerator. No oven, just a cooktop and very old miscroware overn. The appliances need to be changed. The dish washer made alot of noise. We had 3 TVs about a 40 inch non HD and lots of mexican channels. One news channel from LA in English. No board games wer in the room, not even a broom to sweep dirt away. The unit had daily housekeeping included. We spent a lot of time at the pool and beach. Both were 3 minute walks very easy. Activities in the pool area are plentiful including the BINGO game. The guars were very outgoing and fun. This is a pool bar (sit down and swim up) for lunch. The other restaurant serves breakfastt and dinner only. You can expect bar food. We also went out to dinner every other night and had a great time at Monkey Busines, La Capella, and Idiatic, Sabto Coyote. These places ranged in pricee from $145 to $325 USA. For May the temperature was about 92/75 Degrees each dayll. It was very humid but a 7-12 knot onshore Tradewinds get outside activities more comfortable. CR is handicap accessible.
Horrible
3.0Nothing
Not going back
2.0Poor from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. really no genuine customer service and attention to details and our stay.
Regina
8.0The girls at the check in was not friendly, she was blunt and looked tired and just in hurry to ge back home. The hotel is old but well maintained, the room was spacious and clean. Location is good as it's pretty near restaurants or convinience stores. inside market prices are 3-4 times of what you can get outside just a 5-10 mins walk from the hotel.
Pool access available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Reservations are required for massage services. Reservations can be made by contacting the resort prior to arrival, using the contact information on the booking confirmation.
