5.0− We had car trouble, so I called and asked if it was too late to cancel. It was too late to cancel, so I told them to hold the rooms, we are going to try to make it since we are paying anyway. Some of us had to stay back with the broken down van, but the rest of our group went on to the hotel. The staff did not want to give them the rooms since they arrived so late. After much arguing, they allowed them to stay. I am thankful my family was able to get some rest, but the staff/managers were not kind and gave my family a hard time after having a difficult day. This is disappointing, and I will think twice about staying at a Microtel again.
