Lovely stay
8.0Staff were excellent and the food is great although a bit slow
− Food was a bit slow
Not worth pushing the boat out for more expensive packages but very nice place to visit.
7.0The venue location / setting is absolutely stunning! The facilities were lovely and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
− Our room was not the cleanest, a couple of hairs in the bathroom which I know is to be expected but with the price of the room being upward of £500 you could expect better. The room had really thin walls, we could hear everything from our neighbouring room which was disappointing again. Spiders in every corner of the room suggested a lack of cleaning ahead of our stay. Again, I appreciate it is hard to keep all rooms spotless but for the extortionate price of the room, this was disappointing. I had a better experience at Ragdale Hall for example.
Beautiful place - very dog friendly.
8.0Loved the grounds. How welcoming it was for dogs, the welcome pack, the beds and treats, so nice. The bed was super comfy. The views are fabulous.
− The restaurant staff were slow to respond.
