It was a real pleasure to stay at the Palace and I would thoroughly recommend if visiting Buxton.
9.0Comfortable room and friendly obliging staff. The hotel itself is magnificent and worth the stay for the sumptuous building alone. Great swimming pool and sauna facilities enjoyed by all.

Beautiful from the outside but needs some work inside
8.0The hotel was in a good location for where I was working.
− The rooms were very tired especially the bathrooms the shower head was full of limescale and didn’t work properly.
Enjoyable!
7.0Jane in reception excellent. Went out of her way to be helpful. The pool was good - but strange having to pay for it on a daily basis as an extra.
− Some plugs and sockets round and some square - as a result unable to use standard lamp and fan. Windows fixed so that could not be fully opened which made room very hot in the heat wave conditions - really needed to be able to open window fully.
