Lovely location and friendly staff, but disappointing room comfort.
5.0The location was fantastic for exploring Amsterdam. Our room looked lovely and was just as pictured, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were both very straightforward.
− The sound insulation between rooms was extremely poor. We could clearly hear conversations in neighbouring rooms, even when people were speaking quietly, which disturbed our sleep. The water pressure was also very weak. There were several smaller issues that added to the disappointment: the hot and cold tap indicators were reversed, there was no curtain or blind on the bathroom window (although the glass was frosted), and the hand soap dispenser was empty on arrival and wasn't refilled until later in our stay.
