− I paid booking.com well in advance of my stay. For some reason the hotel had no record and charged me again. That was over a month ago and despite telling me when I checked out that it had been resolved, the charge still hasn't been reversed. Poor on behalf of the hotel and booking.com.

− Carpets in hall are worn through and look filthy. Dining area is a bit seedy and tired looking..We decided not to eat or drink at hotel due to concerns re overall cleanliness. Bedroom was dark and gloomy.
