I have to say I was genuinely impressed. After the devastation caused by the hurricane a couple of years ago, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but the turnaround is remarkable. The property has been beautifully restored, and the updated facilities feel fresh, modern, and very well maintained while still preserving the charm that makes this hotel iconic. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the service. From the moment we arrived, every member of the staff was attentive, warm, and eager to help. There’s a level of hospitality here that feels both professional and genuinely caring. A special highlight was our time at the Beach Club. Mercedes and Nidia took exceptional care of us—friendly, proactive, and always with a smile. They made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured everything was perfect throughout our stay. And I can’t go without mentioning the food: the grilled octopus was outstanding—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily one of the best dishes we had during our visit.

The hotel is being renewed and recovering its old splendor. Renewed rooms, the location and installations are nice and adequate. Service pristine and friendly. Quality of food is excellent. The mew Italian restaurant is amazing.

This 5-star review is for the outstanding service we received at breakfast from the team of Guillermo and Abraham at the Chula Vista restaurant. Super attentive and hardworking!! That smile of Abraham’s was so refreshing!!

Best breakfast experience in Acapulco

My husband and I had breakfast at the Princess. Our server Javier Tomas was beyond excellent. The food, the views, everything makes it worth the stop. Highly recommended!!

Not Soo good experience

I was disappointed with my experience. On the first night of our stay, there was hair in the bathtub. I reported it, and it was cleaned, but it created a very poor first impression. I also needed the invoice for my stay and restaurant charges. I was told I could obtain it online, but I was never able to do so. I then contacted the hotel directly and made approximately 30 calls to the front desk. On several occasions, I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes, calls were disconnected, or the line was hung up. Itzel, Elizabeth, and Mayra took my calls, but each time I was placed on hold and later told that “the call got disconnected.” Elizabeth asked me to provide my information again, which was very frustrating, as it was the fourth time I had already provided it. I had also already sent the information to the email address given to me initially. As of now, I am still waiting to receive my invoice and am currently on hold again. Very poor front desk service!!
