We booked this space to be close to Karate Worlds at the convention center. For our family it seemed to be affordable and close proximity. The stay was a disaster.

− We were greeted by a man sitting in front of the hotel, yelling that he would F* kill us. Chop off our heads and no one would ever find us again. Awesome for my 10 year old to hear (note the sarcasm.) The woman at the counter ensured me he was being dealt with. He was gone within 15 minutes, only to turn up again the next day. Matters were only made worse when the outside door card readers didnt work, so long stay guests just regularly wedged rocks in the doors to keep them open at all times. We quickly noted that our window was broken and left open, unable to shut. I told the front desk and they said they couldnt really do much about it. I called around to find somewhere else to stay, but everything was booked. We were stuck here. We were able to wedge the ironing board in the winow as a make shift lock, once we shimmed the window near shut. Many other things to note- while there is a kitchen, nothing for the kitchen is provided. The mattress covers are THICK plastic, this baby pee pad, and so loud when people move on them. Our son said they sounded like bubble wrap. The room has cob webs in corners. There is rarely staff at the front counter to help. There is a long term stay transient community that basically lives out of this hotel. Speculation, but there is seemingly sex work happening. Such a shame. We've stayed at other ES and had a great experience.

This Place Has Roaches

The kitchen had nothing. No utensils, plates, cups, nothing. I saw a roach crawl on my door. The closet was just an open space with no doors. The bed was hard. There was no remote in my room, and when I called about it, I had to get dressed, come down, and get it myself. I will never stay here again.

− I didn't like anything about this place. One of the worse hotels I have ever stayed in by a landslide. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
